It’s much different than most of his more famous films like “North by Northwest”, “Psycho” or “The Birds.” I feel like the danger of the characters in those films is a little far-fetched. I like almost all of them, particularly those from the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s but “Shadow of a Doubt” is by far my favorite. I’ve seen 40 of Alfred Hitchcock’s 57 films that he directed. The film stars Teresa Wright, Joseph Cotton, Henry Travers, Hume Cronyn, Patricia Collinge, MacDonald Carey and Edna Mae Wonacott. However, her beloved uncle has a dark secret. She wants a miracle to come along-it does in the form of her namesake- Uncle Charlie Oakley.
